Taking in the sights and sounds of the city as inhabitants go about their daily lives, whether it’s through street food vendors or nightlife venues with reasonable cover charges. In comparison to other areas of Cancun, El Centro has more reasonable low-cost lodging options.

Women’s Coast

Playa Mujeres (Costa Mujeres) is a more recent luxury resort development in Cancun, located at the northernmost tip of the Zona Hotelera. This region is less busy than Zona Hotelera, which is closer to El Centro and the Port of Juarez. Playa Mujeres is a great option if you’re seeking for a tranquil vacation with the family.
